Service summary

Woodbine Day Centre supports people with learning disabilities and sensory & physical impairments. 

The centre provides access employment training opportunities, gain independence, take part in activities & workshops and to enhance their quality of life through learning and social interaction.

Sessions include: 
- Art and crafts workshops - exhibiting and creating work
- Music including a DJ workshop, trying your hand at the Steel Pan and getting involved with events
- Catering in the onsite Cherry Tree Cafe and working towards a Food Hygiene Certificate
- Dance therapy - training, performances at events and expressing feelings through movement 
- Local information and advice relating to learning disability needs & support systems
- History and heritage
- Laundry service - developing skills to use in the cafe and at home
- Gardening

Opening times

9am - 4pm, Monday to Friday. Some evening and weekend activities are also available depending on resources and demand.
