The Havens are a network of three specialist sexual assualt centres in London for people who have been raped or sexually assaulted.

If you have been raped or sexually assaulted in the last 12 months, Haven can provide emotional and physical support to help you to recover from your traumatic experience. Staff are fully trained and experienced in sensitive matters and can advise, support and treat anyone who has experienced sexual violence.

The Havens is open to everyone whether men and women, young people and children of all ages.

Young people
The Havens can also specifically support young people who have been raped or sexually assaulted. Staff are trained to support people of all ages, and they also have specialist young persons workers for those aged between 13 and 18.

They have produced a booklet for young people who have been raped or sexually assaulted, which can be downloaded or read online. This booklet has been written with young people in mind. So, if this has happened to you and perhaps you are struggling to cope? Or do you think that no-one understands what you have gone through and how it makes you feel? Maybe you think you are losing your mind? The Havens are on hand to do everything possible to help you recover and deal with what has happened.

The nearest centre to Redbridge is located in Whitechapel.
