Redbridge Forum is a charity organisation based in Redbridge which helps to improve the quality of life for people with a learning disability, including those on the autistic spectrum and their carers.
They enable people to speak up for themselves and they meet with carers to find out what they think about services in Redbridge.
The Redbridge Forum runs the following projects:
- Truecolours (a weekly club for young disabled people aged 14-21 years. There is a £1 charge to attend the club)
- Ain't Misbehavin Project (a one year pilot which was funded until March 2015)
- Transition Terminal (this is currently being developed and the team overseeing this project is based in Barkingside)
- Fun 4 All (trips and fun activities for families living in Redbridge with a disabled child aged 4-18 years. A small charge is made for the activities but it is often a fraction of the full cost)
