A national charity which works with local employers and care & health services to help people with a disability find employment.

Shaw Trust believes that everyone has the right to work and live independent lives. As a national charity, their work aims to empower people to feel able to improve their lives and to believe in their own abilities.

If you are claiming benefits,or are unemployed and want to work, Shaw Trust can help you. 

Support may include:
- training and advice sessions to help people to become more 'work ready' and acquire life skills.
- personal development and motivation tools to help you get to the place where you would like to be in your life.
- employment programmes to help you move from benefits into employment.
- signposting to independent services which can help you to make choices about managing your own life successfully.
