There are several different ways you can search this website:
Using the Directory
If you want to find services or organisations click on the buttons in the Directory section. You can view highlighted entries on the resultpage or choose to view all records. You can filter the results by keyword or postcode.
Using the Search Box
You can also search by typing in a subject and postcode or town. These results can then be filtered by narrowing the radius of your search and by keywords.

If you want to read about a topic in more depth you can use our'Find out more'linkswhich are full of ideas about the choices and support available to you.
Using the A-Z site listing
This is an index of all the topics covered by the website.
Saving your information
You can save the information you have found in the Directory on MyPad. Just click on the Add to MyPad button alongside the service or organisation’s details, and add any notes of your own.
Please note that MyPad will only save information until you log out of a search session unless you have created an account.
If you want to save the information to look at again in the future you will need to create an account. This takes just a few minutes and all you need to set up an account is an email address.When you have completed the online registration, an account activation code will be sent immediately to the email address you have given. Simply type this into the box on the registration page and your account is ready to use.
