Service summary

Action for Blind People is a national organisation that helps blind and partially sighted people receive practical support in all aspects of their lives.

A range of services are available including advice and information relating to employment, local events, housing, emotional wellbeing, leisure opportunities and youth activities. They aim to listen, understand and help anyone living or coming to terms with visual impairment.

The main office and helpline operates in partnership with the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB), which offers practical and emotional support for everyone who is affected by sight loss. For more information visit the RNIB website.
