Lifeline is also known as the community alarm system, where you will be given a pendant which can be pressed to alert staff at the Redbridge Control Centre that you need help.
It can give vulnerable and elderly residents and those with special needs the freedom to continue to live independently and the security of knowing that they can always get help when they need it.
To get a Redbridge lifeline service you will need a telephone line, electrical socket and ideally two people who will be 'key holders' who can get to your address within ten minutes.
The cost of the lifeline service is £4.35 per week, however if you receive benefits you may be entitled to have your lifeline funded for free,
