Come along to an inspiring, fun and informative day out!
Following last year's huge success, Redbridge is hosting its second international disability awareness day festival in London on Wednesday 17 July at Christchurch Green, Woodbine Place, London, E11 2RH.
Visitors to the festival can expect to find a range of exhibitors, plus a sports zone, art and craft markets, music and family entertainment. The festival opens at 12.00pm and finishes at 9.00pm, and entry is FREE.
The festival has three main aims:
- To highlight what statutory, private or voluntary services are available to enable disabled people to stay independent.
- To promote equipment and aids that could maintain or improve independence, not just what is offered by statutory service providers, we want everyone to see the best and/or latest designs
- To provide an opportunity to showcase what people with a disability can do, in the field of sport, arts and entertainment
